SHEET TURNING BENDING CENTER

HC-F2000 Flexible Bending Center

(Received 0+ positive customer reviews)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The HC-F2000 is a compact panel bender engineered for sheet-metal shops making electrical enclosures and cabinet work. With a maximum bending length of 2000 mm and a maximum sheet width of 600 mm, this compact flexible bending center replaces slow, labor-dependent press-brake cells with a single automatic bending process that runs at roughly 0.2 seconds per bend. It is aimed at fabricators who keep losing cabinet orders to operators who never show up, and who need a CNC bending center that one semi-skilled operator can run reliably on every shift.

PRODUCT DETAILS

Flexible Bending Center vs. Traditional Press Brake - HC-F2000

If you are evaluating a flexible bending center versus a traditional press brake for your 2000 mm-class cabinet line, the gap is no longer just cycle time - it is who can run the machine and how fast you can change from one part to the next. The table below lays out the day-to-day reality shops report after installing a HC-F2000 panel bender.

Comparison point

HC-F2000 Flexible Bending Center

Traditional Press Brake

Operator skill

The operator loads the blank; the machine generates the bend program from a drawing. No manual die setting.

A skilled brake operator must set punches/dies, back gauge and estimate bend allowance by hand.

Part changeover

Minutes: import the flat pattern and run. No die swapping, no trial-bend tuning.

Often hours: manual tool changes, re-setup and trial bends for every new part.

Labor per cell

One person can watch several machines; ready for truss/robotic unmanned loading.

Typically two operators per brake - one to hold the sheet, one to run the ram.

Cycle speed

~0.2 s per bend edge, fully servo-driven motion.

Seconds per bend, paced by manual flipping and repositioning.

Repeatability

+/-0.1 mm/m and +/-1 deg/m under closed-loop servo control.

Varies with operator experience and manual repositioning shift.

Short runs

Profitable on small batches and one-offs because setup is almost free.

Setup cost kills short runs; efficient mainly on long production runs.

Workplace safety

Enclosed automated cycle; little manual lifting near the tool.

Open brake pinch point; operators' hands work close to the die.

Material range

Mild steel, 304/201 stainless, aluminum and laminated panels on one machine.

Wide, but each gauge/material needs dedicated tonnage and die selection.

None of this means the press brake is obsolete - it still wins on very thick plate or long, heavy work. But for small precision enclosures in the 2000 mm range, the HC-F2000 flexible bending center removes the skilled-operator bottleneck, crushes changeover time and makes short runs profitable. That is the core reason this class of automatic bending machine is taking market share away from conventional press-brake cells.

Mechanical structure

The main frame of the HC-F2000 flexible bending center is a high-strength welded steel structure, deliberately chosen over a gray cast-iron bed. Carbon-steel welded members have a higher elastic modulus and better mechanical properties than cast iron, which means the same load produces less deflection. For a bending center that repeats the same stroke millions of times a year, that stiffness directly protects long-term accuracy.

After welding, the entire frame goes through a stress-relief tempering cycle to release the residual stress built up during welding. Only then does the machine get its precision machining. This is why a well-built welded panel bender holds tolerance for years, while a cast bed can slowly move as hidden stress relaxes. Gray iron also tends to develop blowholes and uneven density, which over years of cyclic loading can turn into cracking.

pro-1

Side view of the fuselage structure

On the HC-F2000, the sheet-holder (pressing) section is a monolithic, single-piece structure so it cannot flex or shift under load, and the folding beam is linked through precision pivot joints for fast, repeatable motion. The same welded, stress-relieved logic applies to the feeding frame: rigid where it matters, tuned to avoid resonance. The result is a bending center that stays accurate at 0.2 seconds per bend, shift after shift.

The welded frame is precision-machined only after tempering, so the mounting faces for the linear guides, ball screws and folding beam all sit on a stable, stress-relieved base. Shops often report that the HC-F2000 stays within its original tolerance after years of daily production, where a cast bed would need re-leveling. On the floor, the result is a bending center that holds geometry, which in turn protects folding accuracy month after month.

pro-1

Randomly photographed machine body in the production workshop

All of this engineering is visible only indirectly - in how little the HC-F2000 needs to be adjusted once installed. A bending center is a long-horizon machine, and the welded, stress-relieved frame is the single biggest reason it stays accurate year after year. When you compare quotes for a flexible bending center, ask what happens to the bed after five years; on the HC-F2000 the answer is that it is still holding its original geometry.

Servo system

The HC-F2000 bending center runs on an upper-PC CNC paired with a dedicated motion-control card over an EtherCAT bus. The human-machine interface is deliberately simple, built around the real skill level of sheet-metal workers, and supports graphical 3D programming. Instead of dialing in coordinates by hand, you import a flat pattern or draw it on screen, and the system works out the bend order for you.

pro-1

Software features on the HC-F2000 include a 3D graphical operating interface, an intelligent bend-compensation database and a built-in sheet-metal K-factor database. The digital gantry axes are monitored in real time for torque and following error, the three-axis automatic positioning computes the best sheet placement on its own, and die-interference locking prevents a bad program from crashing the tooling. 2D and 3D drawing import/editing plus a handwheel jog round out the package.

Under the hood the motion card handles 16 axes and scales to 64, supporting multi-axis linear and circular interpolation over a fast EtherCAT cycle. What the operator feels is a machine that responds instantly and holds angle without constant retuning. Once a part is set, its parameters are saved, so the next run of that enclosure bends correctly the first time - no re-learning, no depending on a senior operator's feel. That is what turns this into a true flexible bending center.

The control also keeps a production-order log, adapts sheet weight to torque, and supports remote diagnosis and cloud database sharing, so the same part can be programmed once and repeated at any scale. Because the whole CNC is self-developed, the HC-F2000 owner is not locked into a foreign control supplier or waiting on chip shortages for a firmware update.

The payback of good control software compounds over the life of the HC-F2000: every new part programmed today becomes a repeatable, compensation-checked program tomorrow. That is why shops that own one flexible bending center keep finding new reasons to move work onto it - the control just gets more capable the longer you use it.

Optional auxiliary folding knife

The HC-F2000 flexible bending center can be ordered with an optional auxiliary folding knife driven by two servo motors at both ends. During the program, the machine automatically calls this local bending head to form a partial edge on one side of the sheet, without any manual tool change. It is the feature that unlocks asymmetric, notched and stepped blanks on a machine that otherwise bends full-length edges.

The partially bending blade is made of Japanese high-speed steel and undergoes quenching and hardening treatment to effectively ensure the service life of the blade.

The local knife blade is made from Japanese high-speed steel and quench-hardened for a long working life. The auxiliary tooling length is adjustable to suit different jobs, and the head can bend along an interrupted (non-continuous) bend line or work on a flange that is shorter than the machine's full bending length. Two profiles are offered: a convex knife for upward flanges and a concave knife for downward flanges.

In practice this means a single HC-F2000 panel bender can handle the segmented flanges, half-turned edges and partial bends that used to demand a secondary press-brake or hand operation. Instead of outsourcing those edges or adding a second setup, the bending center forms them in the same cycle. For shops running mixed cabinet and bracket work, the optional auxiliary knife noticeably widens the range of parts this flexible bending center can quote on.

Positioning method

On the HC-F2000, a servo motor and precision ball screw control the X position, matched with a Y push plate that locates the sheet precisely before the beam clamps. Two positioning modes are selectable on the machine: corner positioning for parts that have cut corners, and edge positioning for asymmetric notched and specially shaped workpieces.

Corner positioning
Edge positioning
Edge positioning

The pressing structure uses a linkage force-amplification mechanism for fast approach and rock-solid clamping, so the blank cannot shift or wriggle while it rotates. Clamping force is adjustable, which matters on cosmetic stainless and aluminum panels where you want to avoid surface indentation marks. The rotation axis pairs a servo motor with a high-precision harmonic reducer for fast, accurate swivel.

Feeding is done on precision ball screws driven by servos, which keeps feeding accuracy consistent over long runs. Combined with the +/-1 degree per meter angle accuracy and +/-0.1 mm/m dimensional accuracy, the HC-F2000 holds the tight tolerances that cabinet and enclosure assembly demand, bending 0 to 120 degrees. The sample workpieces below - flanged trays, channel sections and complex folded panels - show the range of finished parts this bending center produces in one setup.

If a blank is unusually small, the HC-F2000 system can automatically switch to a secondary positioning mode rather than reject the part, which saves you from hand-feeding mini brackets. The adjustable clamp force is particularly valuable on brushed or cosmetic stainless, where a fixed heavy clamp would leave marks that have to be polished out later. That matters when you sell visible appliance panels or brushed stainless enclosures where every surface has to be finish-quality.

Good locating is also why the HC-F2000 can bend such a wide material range without special fixtures: the same corner/edge logic handles thin cosmetic sheet and thicker structural panels, because the servo positioning repeats regardless of the operator's day.

The cooperation that the user should provide

Every HC-F2000 flexible bending center is backed by a committed after-sales system built around an ISO9001-style quality assurance framework. Subject to successful commissioning, a one-year quality guarantee applies. If commissioning and acceptance cannot be completed within three months of delivery for reasons on the buyer's side, the machine is regarded as accepted and automatically enters the guarantee period, with the contract continuing under its agreed terms.

Our service team keeps a detailed record of every maintenance task and how each problem was solved, and customers feed back on the work so service quality is controlled. Buyers may send operators to our factory, or our engineers can come on-site to train staff on running, maintaining and servicing the machine until they can operate it independently.

We run a full-time after-sales team and respond to service requests online without delay. We provide lifetime maintenance and on-demand technical consultation for all products. Beyond warranty, we continue to offer cost-effective support together with genuine spare parts, keep a usage profile for each device, and push software updates with free routine upgrades unless new requirements come up. Buying a HC-F2000 panel bender is the start of a service relationship.

Spare parts are kept for the long term, and the electrical components (Schneider, Idec, INVT, NSK) are globally available, so you are not held to one supplier for consumables. Remote support often resolves a control question the same day, and commissioning supervision is included so the first production runs on your HC-F2000 start on a proven, correctly set machine, so your uptime begins from the very first shift rather than after weeks of troubleshooting.

Buying an export machine is as much about the support behind it as the iron itself, and the HC-F2000 program is built for international customers: English documentation, remote diagnosis, globally sourced consumables and on-site commissioning when required.

(I) A solemn commitment and a strict system (see the provisions on after-sales service in the ISO 509001 quality assurance system for details).

1. Our company was among the first in the machine tool industry to pass ISO9001 quality system certification. We offer a one-year warranty starting from the completion of equipment commissioning. If commissioning and acceptance are not completed within three months of delivery due to reasons attributable to the user, the equipment will be considered accepted by the user, and the warranty period will automatically begin. The contract will continue to be executed according to the relevant terms after acceptance.

2. Maintenance service personnel must make detailed records of completed maintenance tasks and problem-solving methods when providing service to users. Users must provide feedback to the company. We implement strict control and evaluation of the work quality of our service personnel.

(ii) A dedicated service team ensures the operability of the service network.

1. The user can send operators to our company, or our after-sales personnel can go to the customer's factory to provide free training on operation, maintenance, and upkeep of the machine tools until the operators can operate them independently.

2. A dedicated after-sales service team with a 24-hour service hotline and multiple offices nationwide can promptly respond to customer service requests. In case of a malfunction, a response will be provided within 2 hours, and arrival at the customer's factory will be within 7 hours.
